Sometimes you need a simple craft.  One with no mess.  No glue, no paint, no baths (or even hand washing) needed.  So far, all these pine cone crafts have been a bit messy.  This one is super simple!

Pine Cone Crafts: Yarn Pine Cones

Project time: ~5-10 minutes
Project cost: $ Low

Supplies:

  • One pine cone

  • Scissors

Preparation instructions:

  • None

Step by step instructions:

  • Stick one end of the yarn into the pinecone and wrap once or twice to secure it.  Then, just keep wrapping!  The girls didn’t really wrap top to bottom, they kind of did theirs all crazy.  I could have stopped and “fixed” it, but I figured it didn’t hurt anything that it was different than mine.  It was fun that way too.
