Valentine’s day is almost here and the stores are full of gifts. Chocolate, flowers, stuffed animals, jewelry, and all manner of other…stuff. Let’s face it. The “love” holiday has been commercialized almost to death. As Christians, we know that love is of God. God IS love. So why not take time this Valentine’s Day to focus on Him? I’ve put together a set of Valentine Scripture Cards for you to use over the next few weeks with that goal in mind. First, 5 ways that you could use your Valentine Scripture Cards.

1. Use your Valentine Scripture Cards for Daily Devotions
Choose a Valentine Scripture Card each day and read it during your daily devotions. Talk about what the scripture means and depending on the age of your children, go to the Bible and read the verse in context.
2. Give them as Valentines
Print your cards on cardstock and have your child sign the back. Then, they can hand them out to their friends as Valentines.
3. Post them Around the House
Print your cards off and hang them around the house as sweet reminders for you and your family.
4. Send them with your Husband in his Lunch
If you pack lunches for your sweetheart, slip a scripture card in his lunchbox as a sweet surprise for him to find at lunch time.
5. Use Your Valentine Scripture Cards as Memory Verse Cards
Pick four of your favorite scriptures from the cards and memorize one verse each week for the month of February.
