Fall is in the air and with it, apple cider, pumpkin pie, hoodies, and….children’s boutique clothes! About a month ago, I was asked by a representative of LaBella Flora Children”s Boutique if I would be interested in reviewing a dress or outfit from one of their clothing lines. I clicked over to take a look and what I found was incredible! How could I resist? The boutique clothing was adorable, stylish, and they had so many things that were PERFECT for fall!
I sat down with my 7 year old and together, we struggled to choose one item from the LaBella Flora. We ended up choosing the Woodland Magic McKenna dress from the Mustard Pie clothing line. We ordered a size 7 and anxiously awaited the arrival of the package.
The day finally came (shipping was actually quite quick, but when you’re waiting for something THIS adorable, a day seems more like a week!) and the package arrived. H really enjoyed opening it and trying on the dress. This video shows the unboxing video and our first impressions.
H has since worn this dress several times, so we’ve been able to get a good feel for how much we love it.
The top half of this dress is a knit material, so is very soft and comfortable. The sleeves are a little too long, so we fold them under. We probably could have ordered down a size, but it’s not too far off from the correct size. H normally wears a 7, so that is what we ordered, but if we’d done better at reading the sizing chart, we probably would have had a better fit. We’re okay with it being a little big though. This way, she gets to wear it longer!
The layered skirt is darling! I love the red with the mustard and navy. The white, printed layer just ties everything together.
H especially loves how she can spin around, sit, and have the skirt land in a complete circle around her. 
H has worn this dress three or four times now, to church, and around the house, and she just LOVES it! It’s comfortable to sit around in as well as play in. I love that she has a dress that doesn’t itch, pinch, pull, or prod that is also totally adorable.
And best of all…..
…it’s a great dress for twirling!
