Work in Progress Wednesday #10

What a week!  It’s been crazy in our house.  The teeth cutting I mentioned last week turned out to be a fever, then throwing up, then the other kid throwing up, then our washer drain overflowed and then the mountain of laundry got out of control… I will admit, I haven’t been the sweetest mom this week.  There has been grumpiness, yelling, and crying.  The ugly kind.  But here we are for another Work in Progress Wednesday and I’m reminded that a work in progress is exactly what I am.

Romans 5:3-4 says this.

And not only this, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope.

This is an excellent reminder for me.  The tribulation doesn’t automatically make me patient, but it is working patience in me.  How is God working in your life this week?  I’d love it if you shared in the comments!

Come link up your family-friendly posts with us!!

This week’s most clicked article was from A Little R&R.  Roslind’s article, “10 Things You Need to Do on Twitter Right Now” is great for those of us (yes, me included!!) who are in the learning stages of how to use Twitter!

This week’s work in progress is a project I’m SURE you’ve seen floating around Pinterest or Facebook.  I’ve been tagged in it or had it sent to me multiple times with requests to make it or just to show me how darling it is!  So…I worked on a pattern.  I tried and tried to come up with something that would work, but I couldn’t figure it out.  I searched for a pattern a couple months ago and couldn’t find one, but this last week, I searched again and found the crochet pattern on Ravelry.  I was so excited!  I don’t usually spend money on patterns (especially not that much!), but in hopes that I’ll sell a couple of these hats for Easter, I went ahead and bought it.  I had a HUGE ball of wool that I have been wanting to use, so I’ve made it all into hanks and am going to be dyeing it tomorrow morning.  I have one hat made and will be dyeing it as well.  I’m so excited to see how the colors come out!  Here are my progress pictures so far!
