With this course, kids can learn to crochet, in a way geared specifically toward them. Learn how to hold a hook and yarn, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and follow basic patterns.
Course is six weeks long, with five lessons per week. (Click here to view the complete syllabus.) Students may go through lessons at their own pace.
Parents are welcome to go through the classes with their children to learn alongside them.

Because I really want you to succeed, you will have the opportunity to have one video chat via Facebook Messenger with me during the six weeks of the course. (Parents must be present during video chats with children.)
You will also receive access to my crochet for beginners Facebook group where you can post videos, ask questions, and receive feedback on your work.
Crochet for Kids Supply List
Your child will need a few basic supplies in order to complete this course. They are listed and linked below.
- A size 5.5 crochet hook. You can also look for “I” or “5”. Different brands use different labeling.
- Acrylic yarn, medium weight/4. (Red Heart Super Saver or another “cheap” yarn works just fine for this, but you can choose whatever you like, as long as it fits the weight requirements.)
- Cotton yarn, medium weight/4
(Lily Sugar ‘N Cream is a good one, but any yarn with the same weight and fiber content will work.

When does the course start and finish?
You will receive full access to the course as soon as you make your purchase.
How long will I have access to this course?
You will receive lifetime access to this course. All the lessons, videos, and worksheets will always be available. Video chats are only available during the six weeks following the start of the course.
How many of my kids can take this course?
You may use this course with as many children you have in your household, however, it only includes a live chat with one of those children. If you would like to purchase additional live chats, please message me to purchase additional chats at $15 each.
