Christmas is over and everyone is cleaning up their homes for their New Year’s Eve parties. Before you throw out all that leftover wrapping paper, check out this tutorial to make some beautiful New Year’s Eve decorations. Just grab a couple squares of paper and get folding!

New Year’s Eve Decorations from Wrapping Paper
Supplies:
Wrapping paper cut into squares
Scissors
Ribbon
Follow the instructions in this video to make your stars.
Then, use leftover paper ribbon to hang your new creations! I only had this wide, red ribbon, so I cut a little slit in the end and then tore it down the middle. Then, I cut it in a few different lengths and curled it. I think the curly ribbon really adds a fun element to these stars, don’t you?

I’m just loving these pretty little stars! I think they turned out so festive! We’re not having a big party or anything, but I’m happy to have a little something to ring in the new year and make it special for the girls.
I found the instructions for this star here. I just put them in video form for you. 🙂
