We loooooove going to the pumpkin patch! I wish it was open more than just one month because we’d be there so much more! I just want to share a little bit about what we do at our pumpkin patch and I’d love to hear about your favorite patch and your favorite activities there in the comments!
The animals: These are the best part! Pigs, ducks, chickens, rabbits, baby goats, a couple of donkeys…it’s pretty amazing! And most of them, you can feed or pet. The kids love it!

The Corn Bin: This is really neat. It’s basically a silo with corn covering the bottom. Sand toys are available…it’s just a blast!
Corn Maze: This little corn maze is always a big hit! It’s not really a maze…there is no way to get lost, but it goes back and forth, around and around, and comes out another place. I love that I can send the girls in and not lose them and they love running through!
Photo Opps: There are several places that are perfect for snapping pictures. I love these!!
The Pirate Ship: Climb inside, climb on top, look out the windows, go down the slide…tons of fun!
Slides!: There are multiple slides throughout the farm. This is the one that comes out of the barn. There are also two loooooong tube slides and lots of playground slides!
Train: There’s a little wooden train they love to climb in and play in and also a real train to ride!

| This is on the real train. E loves trains! 🙂 |
Trikes: The kids aren’t quite big enough to ride them yet, but they’re getting there! By next year, they’ll love them!
Tunnels: These tunnels are so much fun for the kids to run through and they make such fun pictures!
The Playhouse: Just a cute little house with a loft!
The Fort: This is so much fun! Stairs galore around in a rectangle. Up and down and across and back up and back down over and over and over. A two/three year old’s dream! (And a mama’s…they get SO worn out!!)
The Tractor Ride: The tractor ride is always a big hit. We don’t do it every time because it’s pretty dusty, so it’s a special treat when we do!
The pumpkin patch is a great place for “city kids” to go to experience farm life and see where some of our food comes from, pet some animals, see a tractor up close, and run the wiggles out! It makes for a great morning trip and is always followed by great naps!

How fun! I love the ideas of the corn silo to play in and the height chart to track their height year after year. I am sure the cousins have a great time with each other there. Thanks for sharing!
It is a great place for the cousins to run around and play and the sisters to chat! 🙂
