Over the years, my store bought washcloths have been slowly replaced by crocheted cotton dishcloths. They work so much better and are so much prettier in my kitchen. Today, I have for you, three new dishcloth patterns. These are unique stitches, but work up quickly and easily. I’m offering one of these three patterns free here in this post. You can purchase all three patterns in a set here.
Bean Crochet Dishcloth Pattern
For this pattern, you’ll need worsted weight cotton yarn and a 4.25 mm hook.
Chain 27.
Row 1:
Bean stitch in 3rd chain from hook.
(Bean stitch: insert hook into chain, yarn over and pull up a loop, *yarn over, insert hook into same chain, pull up a loop* Repeat from * to *. You should have six loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all six loops. Chain one. Bean stitch complete.)
Skip next chain. Bean stitch in next chain. Repeat across.
Chain 2 and turn.
Row 2:
Bean stitch in chain from previous row (as shown in photo). Repeat across. At the end of the row, bean stitch in the last chain of the chain two.
Repeat row 2 to desired length (about 20 rows).
I hope you enjoy this pattern! Be sure to pick up the other two (all three are printable) in my store!
